The Workforce Recruitment Program for College Students with Disabilities is a recruitment and referral program that connects federal sector employers nationwide with highly motivated post-secondary students and recent graduates with disabilities who are eager to prove their abilities in the workplace through summer or permanent jobs. The program is co-sponsored by the Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy and the Department of Defense, and many other federal agencies also participate.
A representative from the Workforce Recruitment Program will be on the University of Massachusetts Boston campus on October 21, 2011 to speak with students about possible opportunities.
Students who qualify will be included in a database of application information which is available for use by federal employers. In order to be eligible for the WRP, students must be current, full-time undergraduate or graduate students with a disability, or have graduated within one year of the release of the database each December.
If you are interested and meet the qualifications, please email Cathy Larson at email@example.com as soon as possible.
