YOU ARE INVITED TO THE FIRST PROFESSORS AND PASTRIES OF THE SPRING TERM!
Meet Professors, Advisors, and fellow students! Escape the freezing temperatures, warm up on piping-hot mulled cider and brewed tea, gorge on delicious Italian pastries, and think about summer!
You are cordially invited to the “Suddenly It’s Summer” social event in Gasson 100, on Wednesday, February 17th, from 3:30 to 5:00 pm.
This next event in the Academic Advising Center’s continuing Professors and Pastries series is co-sponsored with the Career Center and designed to give all students a chance to meet informally and chat with faculty and advisors who run summer programs and can help you find summer jobs, internships, volunteer positions, research opportunities, language learning, courses abroad and life and pre-professional experiences, both at home and abroad. At this summer opportunities gathering, there will be faculty, program directors, and advisors from many of the academic departments, as well as the Volunteer and Service Learning Center, the Career Center, the Office of International Programs, AHANA, the Pre-Med Office and other departments and agencies at BC, and even representatives of the local Zoo and its summer and term-time internships program. They will all be there ready to talk with you about their own programs and other opportunities for this and future summers, and the different ways in which you can pack in all you want to do.
Drop in for all or just some of the time to meet interesting faculty, and advisors, enjoy lively conversation with professors and peers, and warm up.
