2009 Career Summit: Responding to the Economic Climate

Taking place Wednesday, June 24th is the 2009 Career Summit: Responding to the Economic Climate, hosted by Boston College.  This is a career summit to specifically address the fluctuating job market, reflecting on the past and planning for the future.  Speakers will focus on the labor market and student and alumni career issues and provide Career Services Professionals with tools to help their clients.

The day will start at 8:30 am, with registration and continental breakfast.  Dr. Paul Harrington, from the Center for Labor Market Studies, will begin the day with a Keynote Address.   Lunch and light snacks will be provided.

Free parking is available for all guests.  Please enter through the Commonwealth Ave. entrance of the Brighton Campus and park in the open lot, straight through the entrance.  It is marked in green and gold on the BC parking website.   Directions to campus are provided in the links below.

Guests riding the T over may exit at the Boston College stop and walk up Commonwealth Ave. to the Brighton Campus.

*Please note that due to the Career Summit, the Career Center will not have drop-in hours from 2-4pm on Wednesday, June 24th, but will be open later that evening from 5pm-7:30pm.
