What do all these organizations have in common?  They are all on the:

2009 New York City Career Exploration Tour for Media and Entertainment!

8:30 A.M. TO 6:30 P.M. BOTH DAYS

You can be one of a small group of Boston College students who will meet alumni at each location, see the worksite, and learn about the Media and Entertainment field.  It’s a great time to learn and it’s a great time to network.  It’s also fun!

The tour has been set up for you.  You will need to make your own travel and lodging arrangements and should have some cash for lunch.  This is a two-day commitment.  If you register in time for the tour and then need to cancel, we need at least 48 hours notice.   There will be someone on a waitlist who can take your place.

Sign up now by registering through EagleLink; on your Home Page, go to the Events Tab > Workshops > 2009 NYC Media Tour.  If you are one of the lucky students attending this tour, you will be sent further information and orientation materials in a confirmation email.

Because of the popularity of this tour, we are asking all registered students to send us a check for $25.00 to reserve your spot.  Please bring your check to the career Center or mail it to:

NYC Media Tour for BC Students
Boston College Career Center
38 Commonwealth Avenue
Chestnut Hill, MA 02467

The check is totally refundable and will be returned to you when you show up for the tour or cancel with 48 hours notice.  We want to make sure that no student loses out on this opportunity because his or her name was not added from the waitlist when an opening occurred.

If you have any questions, please contact Marie R. Geary at 617 552 3633 or at
