Ernst & Young is excited to host a Diversity Leadership Conference! The program will take place Saturday, June 27, 2009 in Boston. This program will be an interactive event for approximately 40 diverse freshman and sophomores from colleges and universities across the Boston area who are interested in learning about a career in professional services.
Why are we hosting this conference?
At Ernst & Young, we understand that workforce diversity is more than a good idea, it’s good business. We are proud of our diverse workforce and focus on inclusiveness. We know that in order to provide the best quality service to our clients, we must foster an environment in which inclusiveness is openly embraced. This conference is a way for Ernst & Young to share how a career in professional services can be an exciting, challenging, and rewarding experience.
What will I learn?
Participants will learn about careers within public accounting and have the opportunity to network with peers and Ernst & Young professionals, as well as gain experience in leadership and professional skills. The program will also include the opportunity to share the experience and knowledge with others, as well as understand the importance of seeking effective career mentors and building an inclusive atmosphere.
What are the additional benefits of participation?
All attendees will receive an EY professional mentor
All attendees will be considered for future interviewing opportunities within the firm
Who is eligible?
Ethnically diverse Freshman and Sophomores
Accounting, MIS, Finance, or related major or intended major (if not declared at this point)
Minimum 3.2 overall GPA

We are now seeking applicants for the Diversity Leadership Conference.
